TLDR: My name is Benjamin John, and I’m a solution architect for Microsoft’s Power Platform.

After my vocational training as IT system merchant in 2008, I’ve made an additional graduation as state-certified business informatician (faculty software development) in 2010.

I started working with the online version of Dynamics CRM 2011 as a rookie at OnDemand4U GmbH. I’ve done there a mixture of consulting (sales, marketing and service), customizing, support and development. The solutions that I’ve developed, always solved a problem or made the life of the users easier.
To mention only a few:

• Inbound telephony integration via URL parameter for 3CX
• Phonenumberformatter with Googles libphonenumber
• Google Map with autocomplete
• Distributed forecast calculation

Beside Dynamics CRM, I was responsible for the internal IT and the website.

In July 2013 I started blogging in German on the domain “leicht-bewoelkt.de”. In 2015, I decided to switch to English to reach more people and in 2019, I updated the domain to “365cloudydays.de” to reflect the changes in the Microsoft ecosystem.

I also switched to ORBIS AG in 2019 where I mainly was the solution architect for ClickDimensions projects for customers in the manufacturing and construction branch.

In 2021, I switched the employer and the domain of my blog.
I’m still solution architect for ClickDimension, but also for Dynamics 365 Marketing and I do holistic NPO projects on the Power Platform at Ambit Group AG.
The Domain now carries my name “benjaminjohn.de” to optimize my personal branding.
